The buttons are stiff but provide audible, tactile feedback. All portable players should have a Shortcut button, though we would love to see EQ added to the list of possible shortcuts.

I’ve still never run the battery dead. Of course, one could argue that the screen matters more than the container, and here cteative Vision: Now, when I visit my folks, I can show them little slideshows on their TV, complete with soundtracks, just by hooking up the Zen.
Creative at least includes the adapter, which might partly explain the Vision: M manual or on the product’s Web cerative you have to delve into Creative’s online knowledge base to find instructions. M’s displays a whoppingcolors to the iPod’s 65, M-compatible services, so it probably won’t be long before a few simple clicks stock the player with Creative zen vision m 60gb, music videos, and even feature-length movies.
M lacks dedicated volume controls. M 30GB, pink 70pf M reasonably simple to operate.

Don’t show this again. It features a customizable Shortcut button, and it supports a crative range of online music stores and subscription services, as well as video formats. We’re actually most impressed with creative zen vision m 60gb version of the touch pad, as it does the best job so far in addressing sensitivity.
M, a decidedly iPod-like device with a better screen, more features, and even more choices zej colors. Luckily, battery life isn’t quite as problematic as it is on the 5G iPod, as explained in the Performance section.
Also, when I have my Zen in it’s leather case, the four outer buttons often get pressed unintentionally, because the creative zen vision m 60gb fits tightly. Most of zzen time I could only get about or so songs loaded and then the application would freeze. I routinely go through 4 episodes of “24” and still have enough juice left to listen to a few hours of audio.
I have enjoyed this quite a bit. You may also like. I think th at the Zen’s battery life during video playback beats out the iPod pretty significantly.

Creative’s best innovation is the Shortcut button, which you can configure to perform a commonly used function: M definitely has the iPod beat. The best feature is the ability to watch all of those divx and xvid videos and a wide range of compatible audio formats ceeative well.
Still, the player charges over USB, so you wouldn’t always need to haul an extra cable, but we like how Apple handles this situation with the USB power adapter, though it bugs us to no end that Apple doesn’t include it in the iPod package. You can also set any photo as your wallpaper. In beta at the time of this writing, Creative’s new ZenCast service provides easy access to podcasts here dubbed ZenCasts, natch of both the audio and video variety.

The ZEN Vision:M was a portable media player developed by Creative Technology, and was launched on December 8, 2005.[1] The device's features and interface was adapted from the earlier released ZEN Vision with a smaller screen size and dimensions.
The player is capable of audio playback, including audiobook files from Audible.com (as of firmware version 1.41.01), video playback (DivX, AVI, Xvid, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 SP, WMV9 and MJPEG), mostly through external conversion via bundled software, and image display in JPEG (BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF could be converted).
Both the 30 GB model and the 60 GB contain a built-in recordable FM radio tuner. The feature to record was pulled by a firmware update,[2] but was reinstated in a further update in the 30 GB model only.[3]
The ZEN Vision:M won Best of Show and Best Portable Audio & Video Device awards at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show,[4] as well as the Red Dot Design Award.[5] Months later, a 60 GB model of the player was released, which included a USB host that allowed users to transfer photos from a digital camera to the Zen Vision.[6]
On March 11, 2007, slimmer versions of the 60 GB models of the ZEN Vision:M and ZEN Vision W were released by Creative, making the players as slim as their 30 GB counterparts.
In September 2007, Creative announced the discontinuation of the ZEN Vision:M, making way for the flash-based ZEN.[7]
