For today I have a very popular game as a surprise: STALKER: Call of Pripyat! If you don’t own the game yet, I strongly advise you to buy STALKER: Call of Pripyat on GOG.com which is DRM free. The Gamersgate version of the game contains TAGES DRM which will fail to start. The game works quite nice on 512mb GFX card altough the game works in Directx9 mode only (still great graphics of course) because Directx 11 isn’t working in Wine yet. I created a CrossTie for the GOG.com version and works quite nice using Crossover! I rated the game “Silver” for now because of the Directx 11 and the game will be quite slow if you have all graphics settings on high. I played the game for about an hour on medium settings and high resolution and that worked fine for me. Check out the PC trailer below to get introduced to the game.
