Mojave Compatibility For Mac
Feb 11, 2020 This thread is for posting the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to app compatibility with macOS Mojave DB 1. Make sure to update the first page, instead of making individual posts. This is a wiki post. Please keep the apps alphabetized. So you must know if your Mac is compatible with latest macOS, or it’s too old to update. Is my Mac Compatible with macOS? When you buy a Mac, the macOS comes already installed on it with the most compatible version.
Apple on Monday released a pair of updated support documents advising macOS Mojave users about Mac Pro graphic card upgrades, as well as an advisory for some iMac users about support for Boot Camp on certain iMacs.
The first document advises users about installing macOS Mojave on their Mid-2010 and Mid-2012 Mac Pros. These machines didn’t originally ship with GPUs offering support for Apple’s Metal 3D graphics API, and the graphics card must be updated if full Metal compatibility is desired.
The list of cards compatible with macOS Mojave on Mac Pro (Mid 2010) and Mac Pro (Mid 2012) include:
- MSI Gaming Radeon RX 560 128-bit 4GB GDRR5
- SAPPHIRE Radeon PULSE RX 580 8GB GDDR5
- SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 Mac Edition
- NVIDIA Quadro K5000 for Mac
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Mac Edition
Apple says the following AMD-based cards “might” also be compatible with macOS Mojave on Mac Pro (Mid 2010) and Mac Pro (Mid 2012):
W012 GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U & PC USB: May.12, 2016: Firmware V.06 for MAC (but upgrade it on Windows) W012 GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U & PC USB: May.12, 2016: Firmware V.05 for Windows and Linux: F300 MAYFLASH ARCADE FIGHTSTICK F300 For PS4/PS3/XBOX ONE/XBOX 360/PC/Android: Jan.15, 2016: XP/Vista and Windows 7/8/10,32. It's exactly as described, an official Nintendo USB adapter that allows you to use Gamecube controllers on Switch and Smash Bros Wii U. Controllers are completely responsive, rumble works. The only thing is that in a lot of Switch games, it doesn't work that well because of the lack of a second bumper and clickable sticks. The procedure you described didn't work for me = But maybe just to clarify a list of things I should be doing: 1) Dolphin 5.0 2) Wii U mode for the adapter 3) Gamecube controller plugged into port 1 on the adapter 4) The black USB, not the gray cord (adapter comes with 2, but I think the gray one is only for rumble). Unfortunately, i cant test your usb extension scenario though as i dont have a usb extension. I want to say it will work, but i do know there is a threshhold. I remember when using a usb extension with my older DJ equipment (maybe about 8 years ago), sometimes it doesn't work efficiently but this is a less strenuous scenario, plus the times. Help with Mayflash Gamecube controller adapter on Mac. I don't believe the Mayflash adapter works on OSX properly - without drivers, only port one works while in PC mode. Initially it worked on my Mac with no drivers, but failed to work after about a week. Reinstalled Dolphin, cleared all caches and reset.kexts related to USB input. Will mayflash gamecube adapter work for mac with usb extension.

To check which graphics card is installed in your Mac, do the following:
- Press and hold the Option key while choosing Apple () menu > System Information.
- In the sidebar, select Graphics/Displays. If your graphics card is compatible, you see “Supported” next to the Metal entry. You can also note the name of your graphics card and see if it’s in the list below.
The second updated support document concerns the “Installation cannot proceed with Boot Camp configured” alert that users might see on certain iMac models when they attempt to install macOS Mojave on the machine.
Users of 27-inch iMacs from late 2012 with 3TB hard drives installed and an existing Boot Camp partition could see the alert. Civ rising tide mac torrent.
To install macOS Mojave on this iMac, first back up your Windows data, then use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the Boot Camp partition. After the Boot Camp partition is gone, you can install macOS Mojave, but you can no longer use Boot Camp on the machine.
